Botanica Beauty was born with a simple belief: nature knows best. With product formulations powered by plant-based ingredients and guided by sustainability, the brand had a strong story. What it needed was a design expression to match—clean, intentional, and emotionally resonant.

The beauty category is both crowded and fast-moving. Botanica needed to enter the space with clarity and consistency—while still honoring its quiet, thoughtful brand DNA.
The brand had an expanding line of skincare essentials but lacked a structured design language to tie it all together. Without visual alignment across touchpoints, even the strongest formulations risked being overlooked.

We approached the project with empathy—for the brand, for its consumers, and for the simplicity it stood for.
We started by understanding the "why" behind Botanica. Interviews with the founders revealed a strong emotional commitment to sustainability, slow beauty, and ingredient transparency. These pillars formed the base of our design brief.
The logo was created to feel elemental and serene—like something you’d find carved into a soapstone or printed on recycled linen. Soft letterforms, balanced spacing, and an icon drawn from botanical cues created a mark that was both memorable and calming.
Every product was treated as a tactile experience. We designed a modular packaging system that allowed for scale—one that could grow with the product line while retaining a consistent voice. Materials were chosen for sustainability. Type hierarchies emphasized clarity. Illustrations were hand-drawn to nod to nature’s imperfections.
For both digital and physical outreach, we created a kit of parts—editable templates for postcards, product cards, social media posts, and campaign headers. The goal: to give the team a toolkit they could use independently while still staying on brand.
What emerged was a design system that does more than decorate—it deepens trust. Every element, from the curved corners of the logo to the neutral tones of the packaging, works to reinforce Botanica’s core values: clean, conscious, and caring.
The brand now enters conversations with a clear visual voice and a consistent message. Whether it's on a serum bottle or a shelf talker, the identity invites users in—with calmness, clarity, and care.
